These delicious, 4-ingredient chocolate bites are super easy and quick to whip up.
Ingredients
60g powdered sugar (and a bit more for the molding)
120g walnuts + 15 in halves for decorating
½ egg white*
200g dark chocolate
*if the egg is too small, you might need to add a bit more than half to make the batter malleable.
Preparation
Put the powdered sugar in a blender and mix, then add the walnuts and egg white till smooth.
Cover your hands with powdered sugar, then scoop out batter and roll it into small, walnut-sized balls that you press lightly before placing on a baking paper-covered pan. Cover with cling film and refrigerate until fully cool.
Melt the chocolate over a bain marie, stirring till smooth. Take it off the heat and let it cool. Skewer the walnut balls and dip them in the melted chocolate till completely covered, then place them on the baking paper. Alternatively, use a fork to lift and dip them. Repeat till all the spheres are covered in chocolate. Before the chocolate solidifies, place half a walnut over for decoration. Refrigerate for half an hour and serve.
