Ingredients
4 eggs
1 cup sugar (200g)
250g butter (half margarine, half cow butter) at room temperature (and a bit more for the pan)
½ cup milk (150ml)
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour (225-250gr) (and a bit more for the pan)
1 tsp baking powder
2 vanilla powder vials
1 ½ tsp cinnamon
2 cups walnuts (200g), thickly ground
Preparation
Add the eggs and sugar in the mixer and stir until the sugar melts and fluffs up, then add the butter and stir again. Add the milk and repeat, then add the rest of the ingredients, apart from the walnuts (flour, baking powder, cinnamon, vanilla). Add the walnuts when the mix is ready and stir for a second.
Butter a loaf pan and layer it with a bit of flour. Pour the batter into the pan and bake for an hour in a preheated oven at 180ºC using the heating elements, then check if it’s properly baked with a toothpick or knife.
