Ingredients (approx. 40 servings)
200g dark chocolate (53% cocoa)
170g walnuts, split in half
½ tsp corn or sunflower oil
Preparation
Melt the chocolate over a bain marie (boil water in a pot over low heat and place another, smaller pot on top, which absorbs the heat off the steaming pot below). In that smaller pot, use a knife or your hand to break the chocolate into smaller pieces and use a wooden spatula to stir till melted. Make sure no water gets into the smaller pan.
Once it’s melted, pour in the oil and walnuts and stir till smooth.
Cover a big tray or metal sheet with baking paper.
With a teaspoon, scoop small spheres out of the batter and arrange them evenly along the tray.
Refrigerate for at least two hours, till the chocolate bites solidify.
