Olive paste with capers and walnuts

The perfect spread for a cheese-lettuce sandwich.

Ingredients

Servings: approx. 600g

2 cups pitted olives
2 tbsp capers
1 tbsp olive oil
4 tbsp walnuts
2 garlic cloves
a bit of thyme to sprinkle over

Preparation

Rinse the olives in water, then strain and leave on a piece of paper towel to dry for about 10 minutes. 

Rinse and dry the capers likewise. 

Add all the ingredients, apart from the thyme, into the blender. Mix till creamy. 

Pour into a bowl and sprinkle with thyme. 

Tip

Leave out the garlic if you don’t like the taste.
